Good things and bad things.
So, the bad news first...our movie didn't even make it into the top 10 in the Vancouver Film Race. So that sucks, but we still had a good time, and made something I'm happy with, so no worries there.  (See the nominees here)

This is completely overshadowed by the glory that is "Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog", the first episode of which I have just watched. It is, in a word, GLORIOUS! Seriously...go see it right now! Go!

Okay--so I'm Whedon-impaired in many ways...I've only seen the last four seasons of Buffy (and even then, some bits are spotty), the first two of Angel, one episode (the pilot) of Firefly, and none of his comics and other projects. I've heard about this over the last few weeks, just watched it as commanded by yourself, found it enjoyable (apart from the fact that my computer kept freezing up every 2 minutes or less for a few seconds...?!?), but I'm wondering...there must be some back story to this which one can consult. Is it within your powers to enlighten me in this regard?

And I must say, Neil Patrick Harris is quite a bit more HAWT than I remember him! I just can't buy that he's actually interested in that girl...It isn't that he's a bad actor or anything...Oh well...?!?

He is pretty dreamy! I particularly liked him in Starship Troopers, but that's just my thing for uniforms, I guess.

That was awesome. Somewhat reminiscent of _The Venture Brothers_, but the actually sing-able music put it in a league of its own (an Evil League of Evil).
